His background as an entrepreneur provides Wachs Water Services with a wealth of experience starting and growing businesses and introducing new solutions that help utilities manage aging water infrastructure challenges. Ed Wachs is also the CEO of two other well known utility service companies and owns companies in the aviation industry. In addition to being a successful entrepreneur and executive, Ed Wachs is an accomplished pilot, race car driver, race car team owner and military service veteran. |

Charles Wachs, Director, Owner After graduating from Cornell University, Charles Wachs initially worked in the automobile manufacturing industry for both Ford and Volkswagen. He began his career in the water industry working for E.H. Wachs, a company owned by the Wachs family that manufactures pipe cutting and valve turning machinery. Charles Wachs spent 38 years at E.H. Wachs and acted as the president for 15 years. As president, Charles increased E.H Wachs' presence in the water distribution system industry and was instrumental in starting the spin-off service company originally known as Wachs Valve and Hydrant Services which later became Wachs Water Services. Charles Wachs is an active member of both the AWWA Water Loss Committee and the AWWA Distribution Committee. |

Cliff Wilson, President, Owner Prior to forming Wachs Water Services, Cliff Wilson served in systems integration and retail operations with BP/Amoco leading teams with a focus on merging and streamlining Amoco and BP's retail related technologies. Prior to his tenure at BP/Amoco, Cliff Wilson was a navigator of a destroyer and managed nuclear reactors on an aircraft carrier while in the Navy. Wilson graduated with an engineering degree from the US Naval Academy and earned his MBA from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia. Cliff Wilson has over 25 years of experience in the water, oil and technologies industries and is an expert in water distribution system asset management and information management. He is a published author for AWWA Journal, ESRI Water Writes and UIM and currently serves as a member of both the AWWA Water Loss Committee and the AWWA Distribution Committee. |

Cliff Jones, Vice President of Business Development Before joining Wachs Water Services in 2010, Cliff Jones served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Pressure Pipe Inspection Company (PPIC), a company that specialized in condition assessments of large diameter pressure water pipelines. During Cliff Jones' tenure, PPIC became an industry leader through the introduction of new technologies. Prior to PPIC Cliff Jones was President of Canada's top POS distributor for the grocery and hospitality markets. Cliff Jones holds a MBA from Warwick University, as well as an Honors degree in Industrial Chemistry and a Teaching degree. He is Chair of the Pipeline Committee at NASSCO, is Education Chair for CATT, and is the international Chair for the ASCE Pipelines 2012 Committee. He has published papers and articles focused on condition assessment of pipelines, water distribution efficiency and asset management. |

Ryan McKeon, Vice President of Technology, PMP, GISP In 2010, Ryan McKeon was promoted to the position of Vice President of Technology for Wachs Water Services. His exceptional grasp of technology has proved to be an invaluable asset to Wachs Water Services since he started with the company in 2003. Ryan McKeon has leveraged his understanding of water distribution systems and network data systems bridging the gap between theory and practice to develop practical and tangible operations based GIS solutions. Ryan McKeon is credited as a major contributor to ESRI's database design for a water system geodatabase and is a recognized figure in the database design industry. Ryan McKeon is an advocate promoting the need for GIS professionals to build accurate and sustainable systems. Ryan McKeon graduated from Towson University with a BS in Geography and has both his PMP and GISP certifications. |
